Naval Hospital Bremerton & Clinics, NFPA 99 & 101 Assessment, Bremerton, WA

LRS provided Life Safety evaluations for Naval Hospital Bremerton and ten outlying clinics totaling 441,985 square feet. The on-site evaluations of each building were carried out in accordance with NFPA 99 and 101 standards. Life Safety deficiencies were detailed and identified by location within each building by photographic documentation. LRS engineers provided suggestions for corrective actions as well as a cost estimates to repair. As part of this effort, LRS developed enhanced life safety plans in AutoCAD to illustrate the different types of life safety features. Deficiency reports were developed for each individual building, with findings prioritized to aid the Navy in correcting the most critical findings and to assist in the programming for larger, future efforts. LRS also performed a mock Joint Commission (JC) Survey utilizing the JC Environment of Care and Life Safety chapters. All findings were cross-referenced to the JC standards and corrective actions and their costs were provided.
