Waco Lake Project

The Waco Lake task order was awarded to the LRS EMR JV to perform time-critical riprap placement to provide bank stabilization along six eroded and scoured areas of the Waco Dam embankment damaged from recent high-water events. The stabilization activities of this effort comprise a stop-gap approach that requires rapid resolution to reduce further erosive wave action along the Lake Waco shoreline.

Daily decisions for timely, compliant, safe, and cost-efficient plans and execution are performed by our onsite Project Delivery Team, which is comprised of decision-making representatives from USACE and the LRS EMR JV team. Through this open, rapid, team-oriented communication, USACE Omaha District and the LRS EMR JV team are ready to quickly assess, mobilize, and execute on time-sensitive, disaster infrastructure-related construction activities.
