Saint Louis VA Medical Center: Jefferson Barracks Reconfigurations

Under its GSA Multiple Award Schedule contract, LRS provided multidisciplinary construction management services for the phased redevelopment of the Jefferson Barracks VA Medical Campus. The program demolished 27 outdated buildings, constructed five new facilities totaling more than 350,000 GSF, reconfigured campus infrastructure, and supported the expansion of the adjacent VA National Cemetery.

LRS provided on-site construction management, engineering, architecture, cost estimating, commissioning, and program administration throughout project execution. Our team coordinated construction activities, performed quality assurance inspections, reviewed contractor submittals, monitored schedule and cost performance, supported claims negotiations, and oversaw commissioning of three new facilities. Following construction, LRS supported occupancy planning, move coordination, post-occupancy evaluations, and planning and design services for the cemetery expansion.
